RECOGNITIONS AND AWARDS

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), through the Vice Ministry of Tourism, recognized 704 companies in the country for applying good practices in the management of the tourist service during 2016, in the framework of the implementation of the System of Application of Good Practices (SABP).

Delivery of the "Latin American Quality Awards 2019", recognition given to the Companies and Institutions that stood out for their Quality Management and commitment to Total Responsibility in the region.

The Miradas award is the highest international recognition granted by the Latin Communications Corporation, through Miradas magazine to companies, people and organizations related to tourism, gastronomic and related activities that excel in the adoption of good practices in the provision of its services, as well as related to social and environmental responsibility

The Peruvian Civil Association of the Year is a non-profit institution that recognizes the efficiency in management and administrative management and the total quality of the products and services offered by companies in Peru. Its organizing committee is responsible for conducting technical studies, analysis and qualification of the various categories considered.

As part of the annual activities for International Tourism Month, the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism held a colorful parade where the main tourism agencies of the city participated. This was a time to demonstrate the enthusiasm and joy that surrounds all the actors related to the important tourism industry in Cusco.
