Uros Taquile 1D
Itinerary:
Day 1: Puno Hotel - Uros Islands - Taquile Island - Puno Hotel
This excursion begins to 7:00 a.m with I gather of the hotel towards the port. After 30 minutes we arrived at the Uros. These islands have been very famous, so that the villagers in spite of the time, today remain living in artificial islands done of totora, for more than 40 years, they must renew their Islands periodically, adding new layers of Totora. Their homes and their boats are done of that same material. Later, we will experience some of the old traditions of the islanders (optional stroll in totora rafts), will be continued traveling by boat to motor towards the Island of Taquile. Taquile is located to 35 km of the port of Puno. In this island textiles of great quality make manufactured by the own ewe wool inhabitants, we will taste of an exquisite lunch of the zone. By the later part of the island we descend the 530 launching slips from Taquile, to 3:00 p.m
