FIRST DAY: CUSCO / CITY TOUR

Reception at the airport, transfer to the hotel and take a short rest in order to adjust the altitude. The trip will start with the visit of the Temple Koricancha , The Main Square or Plaza de Armas, The Cathedral and continue to the surrounding ruins: The Fortress Sacsayhuaman, the most important Mystical centre from Inkas time Qenqo, the military control centre Puca pucara and the water temple of Tambomachay . Return to the hotel and a free night.

SECOND DAY: CUSCO / MACHUPICCHU

Pick up at the hotel to take the train for a full day tour of the Magical citadel of Machupicchu, it is 112 Km. from Cusco .During the journey we see the Urubamba canyon, Vilcabamba River and the show capped peaks of the Veronica Mountain.Arriving in Aguas Calientes we go to Machupicchu where we visit its agricultural and urban sector, the ceremonial plazas, the sacred springs, the Intihuatana or solar deal. After the visit, we back to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Cusco . Transfer to the hotel. .

Day 3: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS

Continental breakfast.
This day we take a trip to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas: visi t the Pisac ruins, the colorful Indian market and the church. Then we pass places like Lamay and Calca to arrive in Urubamba town where we stop for lunch. After lunch visit to Ollantaytambo town, where we can see its typical streets, the impressive archaeological ruins and agricultural terracing, not to mention the splendid views over the sacred valley. Finally, visit Chinchero town, where people gather in the main plaza to barter foodstuffs.

Day 4: Cusco Hotel - Transfer

Depending of the time transfer to the bus station.

Payment Details:

We require a non-refundable trek deposit of US$150 per person. The deposit can be sent by a WESTERN UNION, PAY PAL, CREDIT CARD or to our PERUVIAN BANKING ACCOUNT money transfer. This is the fastest and most secure form of payment in Peru. The money transfer should be in the name of Cusco Expeditions,. Once you arrive in Cusco you must pay the remaining balance in cash prior to beginning your tour. We accept both US Dollars and Peruvian Soles (local currency).
