Our adventure begins following our route, we will visit the Convent of “Santo Domingo", famous to be erected the continuous excursion in the Strength of “Sacsayhuamán”, magnificent temple construction (the real house of the sun) of the Incas who will make us imaginary transfer an ancestor to us of brave soldiers. Temple of Koricancha (Santo Domingo).

“Temple of the Sun” their perfect architecture and the construction of stone reflects the fact that was the most important temple of the INKAN society.

Sacsayhuaman.

This construction is attributed to the Incas of the last dynasties, is located to 3km of the city of the Cusco, in the high part. According to the chroniclers, it was a solar portable altar; this temple was constructed with great limestone stone blocks to protect the city of the attacks of the invaders of the east or Antis. This formed by three great terraces superposed in form of zigzag and bordered by enormous rock walls.

Qenqo.

Located to a kilometer of Sacsayhuaman, it was a ceremonial center since a giant monolith, of an animal is possibly appraised in the central part, that it was the main deity, surrounded by niches, where offerings were placed. 
In the inferior part, are other niches and an altar that was used to perhaps embalsamar bodies or, for animals’ sacrifices dedicated to their Gods

PucaPucara.

Old inn, sentry post throughout the ways Its construction is of rustic type conformed by side streets, houses, and patios. 

Tambomachay.

It is located to 9 km. of the city, known like the baths of Inca by the form of its water sources, also it could be a temple dedicated to the cult of the water and purification for inka. It has three platforms with several niches where offerings were placed.

We require a non-refundable trek deposit of US$150 per person. The deposit can be sent by a WESTERN UNION, PAY PAL, CREDIT CARD or to our PERUVIAN BANKING ACCOUNT money transfer. This is the fastest and most secure form of payment in Peru. The money transfer should be in the name of Cusco Expeditions,. Once you arrive in Cusco you must pay the remaining balance in cash prior to beginning your tour. We accept both US Dollars and Peruvian Soles (local currency).

The night before your trek there will be a pre-trek talk (briefing) in our office or in your hotel at either 6 or 7pm (exact time will be confirmed on arrival to Cusco).
