Day 1: Cusco - Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

to the train station, located in the town of Poroy or Ollantaytambo, then board the train and begin the journey to the town of Aguas Calientes (2000 m) which has a duration of four or two hours, in Aguas Calientes our guide will be waiting, we go to the bus station to 400 m up along a path zigzag for 30 minutes to reach the incredible wonder of the world "The Sanctuary of Machupicchu", known as "The Lost City of the Incas". Upon arrival at the citadel of Machu Picchu, we pass the control, where our tickets will deliver revenue and where we will begin our guided tour, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and cemeteries, around for more than two hours. Then you will be given free time to stroll around the citadel and take their food in one of several restaurants in Aguas Calientes or if you wish at Santuary Lodge (lunch is on your own). In the afternoon take the train back to Cusco (depending on departure time of your train), the return will follow the same route as the outward journey and on arrival at the train station in Poroy - Ollantaytambo, we will be waiting for take you to your hotel. The quickest and easiest way to visit Machu Picchu. On the trip, you can enjoy delicious snacks hot and cold drinks. Recently refurbished cars, which are equipped with panoramic windows completely surrounded by glass, passengers feel they are part of the stunning scenery of the trip that you can enjoy a spectacular view with unparalleled scenic views and a host of wonderful photo opportunities.

Payment Details:

We require a non-refundable trek deposit of US$150 per person. The deposit can be sent by a WESTERN UNION, PAY PAL, CREDIT CARD or to our PERUVIAN BANKING ACCOUNT money transfer. This is the fastest and most secure form of payment in Peru. The money transfer should be in the name of Cusco Expeditions,. Once you arrive in Cusco you must pay the remaining balance in cash prior to beginning your tour. We accept both US Dollars and Peruvian Soles (local currency).
